What are the office hours?
Monday to Thursday: 8 AM - 3 PM (available for appointments and walkthroughs)
Friday to Sunday: Please check in advance, as there may be off-site events or on-site rentals scheduled.
What does the rental include?
All rentals (unless noted otherwise) include:
All day rental (weekdays and weekends vary)
Eight 8ft long tables,
50 white folding chairs
Table linen (white or ivory or black)
1 Bluetooth-enabled speaker
All cleaning fees
Anything more extensive than this might incur additional rental fees. Please inquire with Amethyst Events.
I need help with my event, do you have recommended vendors?
Yes! Please go to the link below to get to our vendors page! They are all trusted vendors and have worked with Amethyst Events in the past, present and future.
Is there access to Wifi?
Are restrooms available at the venue?
Yes, there are signs in the rooms with the network name and password to be able to access the guest Wifi.
Each room will have at least two bathrooms available for use. Please note that these bathrooms are shared with other companies in the building or may be used by other events occurring at the same time.
I have my own decorations, what are the restrictions?
Tape, nails, screws, staples, and any penetrating items are prohibited our walls, floors, and ceiling. Open flame candles, glitter, and confetti are also not permitted inside the venue. Any violations of these rules or damages to the space will result in additional charges. Please consult with Amethyst Events about any necessary exceptions before your event.
What are the rules of the kitchen?
When you reserve The Patio Room, you'll have access the kitchen. You're welcome to use the stove to keep your food warm, the microwave for heating, and fridge to store items. Please ensure the kitchen is left in the same condition as it was when you arrived. A fee, starting at $100, will apply for any food left in the fridge, sink, or oven after your.
Is outside food allowed?
Private events are permitted. However, if your event involves ticket sales, you will need to obtain a temporary food establishment permit from the Torrington Health District. Please check with Amethyst Events to confirm if this is necessary.
Is alcohol allowed on site? Am I able to serve my own alcohol?
Alcohol is permitted under the following conditions:
1. Should you wish to bring and serve your own alcohol, a fee of $100 is necessary for the appropriate event insurance.
2. You hire a mobile bartender, they must submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI) at least 2 weeks before the event.
3. If you plan to bring your own alcohol and require a server, please check with Amethyst Events regarding their availability.

What happens if I stay past my contracted end time?
An automatic charge of $100 will be incurred for each half hour that a Renter stays in the space beyond their contracted end time.
